Jeep Novak: Brussels is NDR GRND

" Brussels is NDR GRND " is a nomadic group of artists who propose a different approach to art reviving proximity, dialogue , selflessness and freedom. In 2009, Jeep Novak’s original idea was to discover the hidden soul of Brussels. He create a discussion group on " Flickr.com " " brussels is NDR GRND ." which quickly became an international community of photographers.

The decision to work in a transdisciplinary collective way, was born from the intention to engage in an artistic practice centered on discussion and exchange of ideas and forms of action. The Idea Lab " brussels NDR is GRND " is a place for exchange and confrontation with an independant space of words and open to all facets of contemporary artistic creations.

" brussels is NDR GRND " is a flexible and evolving project. Belgian and foreign artists offer to the public the results of research , a step in a path that is created in the course of their meetings. There are several ways to assert its disapproval of aberrant injustices of the world , and we know that anger is not enough . Creation, public debate are our answers . Working in a group allows us to intervene in the social sphere , through the ideas of real commitment or utopia. The projects reflect a visible social concern in the gradual integration of the image in different subjects as daily life, such as politics, technology and culture.

" brussels is NDR GRND " presents his latest album here : "Being in the Wrong Place - Work in Progress", an intimate images overrun, glances, gestures made or raised , treated with different techniques, Ceramics, Painting, Photography. "Being in the Wrong Place " has already been exposed to " Arrêt 59 " Péruwelz cultural center, in Paris by City Art Today , at "Théâtre de Poche" in Brussels and " Castle Estaimbourg " Hainaut East . " The "NO ( b) ORDERS " With Lithium you'll Never Be Sad Again project in meanwhile been presented to the Rockerill of Charleroi, to the Artothèque of Noumea - New Caledonia, by the Arrêt 59 at Pérulwez, at City Art of Paris and at the Ephemere Galery of Thuin.
